This past Thursday I was asked to photograph a ribbon cutting for Family Promise on behalf of the Pet Smart Promise. I couldn’t have been happier to do this.
If you haven’t heard about Family Promise (www.familypromise.org) – it’s this wonderful organization that helps keep family members together while they’re going through tough times and facing temporary homelessness. Typically when families need to seek shelter, the families are ultimately separated by gender as where as Family Promise keeps the whole family unit together. And now with the Pet Smart Promise these families are now able to keep their pets too! Family Promise in Cincinnati is now the 5th facility to make this happen with the help of Pet Smart.
