As a photographer, I always try to have my camera ready to go in an instant which for me means battery and memory card in the camera and ready so I can just pick up and shoot. You never know when you’re going to have that “kodak moment”:) This works out really well since as a photographer I’ve become so much more aware of my surroundings whether it be a beautiful cardinal perched on our pear tree out back or this sweet moment of Savannah when our cat, Leia had just come home from the vet after having a tumor removed. As happy as I was I caught this moment of her on camera, there’s still always the regret of having the wrong lens on the camera. I typically keep my favorite 50m 1.4 on, however, this moment definitely required a wide angle given the small space I had to work with. But it works for me as I know and will never forget the meaning behind it:)
