I knew they were coming. I kept seeing colorful jeans here and leg warmers there. In fact, I even bought my daughter some leg warmers, pink of course:) (those still have a special place in my heart). But I literally gasped when I walked into Forever XXI the other day. It was like a scene out of an 80’s movie. If I hadn’t known any better, I would have thought I was back there for a moment. All of the clothes I was seeing were 80’s. And even the two girls exiting the store as we made our entrance were wearing stone wash jeans and midriff tops. I don’t really consider myself an 80’s kid as much as I do a 90’s kid. I wouldn’t say I don’t like any fashion from the 80’s but a lot of it I’d really rather not see again (floral printed denim) but if there’s one thing I can get behind that I will probably always love – it’s the jean jacket! And thankfully my daughter does too:))
